Live Webcast of "IN THEIR BOOTS"

Log on to www.InTheirBoots.com on Wednesday, August 27th at 7pm EST/4pm PST to watch the latest webcast of IN THEIR BOOTS. This 30-minute long show profiles the challenges American service members and their families face before, during and after deployment. This show is not about war but the people experiencing it.

An Army veteran struggles with the loss of a limb and transitioning into civilian life. He eventually learns to overcome his limitations by getting on a snowboard at the Winter Sports Clinic. In this story, we see Jerry’s perseverance and his wife’s support. Take a moment to watch the trailer and clips of Jerry doing jiu-jitsu and his fear of skiing.

After the “real story”, there will be a live moderated discussion with Jerry Cortinas. Lonnie C. Moore, a Program Analyst with the Warrior Transition Office will join the webcast as well. The discussion also features a groundbreaking component where we allow our viewers to join the webcast using their web cameras from their homes or offices. Just send a video skype or video ichat to itbmac5 and you can ask your question live. If you have a question during the webcast, you can email it to question@intheirboots.com. Our host, Jan Bender, will incorporate your question into the webcast. Audience participation is critical to this show. We want to hear your thoughts and questions. Please join us live!

Don’t miss this exciting series.
